Norfolk 2023

The biggest challenge? House photos with everyone’s eyes open!

Thursday 23rd March

Thursday 23rd March

We have had a brilliant day, with most groups taking on caving, climbing and scavenger skills. There has been some brilliant teamwork. The highlight of the evening was our whole class camp fire - the rain did not deter us! We told stories and jokes, sang songs and toasted marshmallows. We are sad that we only have two more activities and two more mealtimes left but we are looking forward to seeing our families!

Wednesday 22nd March

Wednesday 22nd March

A very busy and active day with lots of physical challenges. Some of us went on the climbing wall for the first time and even attempted the more difficult wall. In our day groups, we went on giant canoes around the lake. And the best news of all... second helpings at dinner!

Breakfast!

Tuesday 21st March

Tuesday 21st March

This morning, we woke up to a lovely breakfast (the hash browns went down a treat) and then competed in some whole-class team games. During the day, different groups completed various activities: survival skills, low ropes, obstacle course, blind trail and a lake walk. Before dinner, we joined together for a quiz, which was won by the team Quinlan’s Quizzards! Our final activities after dinner were aeroball, fencing and bouldering. A good night’s sleep is welcomed after a fantastic day!

Manor Olympics

Manor Olympics Monday 20th March

After quickly dropping our belongings in our rooms and a tour of the site, we got stuck into the first activity: Manor Olympics. There was some running, some spinning, and slightly over-enthusiastic welly throwing. What will the next challenge be?!
